SHAKIS SUPER CUP TOUNAMENT

SHAKIS SPORT ASSOCIATION hosted the first edition of the super cup tournament, This  tournament  was introduced DEC 2021 in Lagos, Nigeria in ABESAN STADIUM,  The first edition was well organized and successful by helping and encouraging footballers that still hoping to play professional, the first edition was won by SGH sport academy, SGH Sports academy came from a goal down to level the score line at 1 - 1 before crowning their efforts at the penalty shootout by winning 5-4 courtesy of a great save from their goalkeeper, Raimi Babs.

The match was a terrific one at sight as both teams played out their hearts in an enthralling encounter, Both teams failed to hit the back of the net in the first half despite creating some chances as they went to the break in a goalless draw

SGH Sports Academy playmaker, Olamide  Ogungbire  dazzled his way to notch in the equalizer for the Godly boys to step up a great finish to the game. Both sides tried getting the winning goal at the tail end of the match but were unlucky as the game went out to penalty shootout. Both teams had a good run in the penalty shootout but the 5th spot kick of brothers FC was punched away by the goal custodian of SGH Sports Academy, Raimi  Babs as he was the hero in the game with his heroic world class crucial  penalty save to hand over the trophy to the Godly boys.

Invincible  Global FC took the third position winning penalty 4-3 against Liberty FC.
